- Machine capacity — ask for actual head count and machine brand, not just "we do embroidery".
- Technique range — flat, chenille, appliqué, sequins, laser-cut?
- Quality control equipment — needle detectors and pull-test machines are a strong signal of a compliance-ready factory.
- Lead times — get a written MOQ and lead time, not a verbal estimate.
